The Capital Area Visitor Center offers free scheduling services for groups of ten or more who plan to visit the North Carolina Museum of History as well as other government and cultural attractions in the city.

Group reservations are required by the following sites:

To schedule your group visit to Raleigh and the state government complex fill out this form. Visits must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance; however, earlier scheduling allows more flexibility, permits time for delivery of your written itinerary, and opens more options for your trip.

To allow our guides to make the best use of your group's time, please inform the Capital Area Visitor Services office of any special needs your group or any of its members may have.

Know Before You Go!

If you or your guests will be traveling around Raleigh, be aware that the Fortify NC project is well under way. Fortify NC is a North Carolina Department of Transportation project that is rebuilding I-40 and I-440 south of town. This construction could result in traffic congestion.
