Annual Teacher Institute

The Museum of History offers an annual one-week professional development workshop for educators on an interesting and interactive topic. The schedule always includes field trips and guest speakers, and teachers leave with classroom-ready materials and activities. The workshop provides up to four CEU credits (40 contact hours).

Online Teacher Workshops

Log on to the Internet for these distance learning programs and earn four CEUs—including reading and technology credits—at your own pace, in your pajamas if you like! Access the workshops anytime during the program dates. You need only access to a computer with an Internet connection to participate in these courses. The cost of each workshop is only $35. Courses will be limited to 30 participants; please contact us before registering to ensure availability.

American Indians in North Carolina, Past and Present (Closed)
