Paige, participating in #NationalSelfieDay and hanging out with some of our World War I "soldiers" in the lab, in preparation for the upcoming exhibit "North Carolina and World War I."
Paige Myers, textile conservator, has approximately 25 years’ experience working with textiles (clothing, uniforms, quilts and flags) at the North Carolina Museum of History, as well as the National Museum of American History and Smithsonian Institution. She was a professional costumer with Raleigh Creative Costume and is currently a textile advisor to Hope Plantation, Windsor, NC. In her spare time, she even gives textile workshops in North Carolina and the Southeast! She will serve as one of the two conservators during Conservation Assistance Day on May 9!
