Let the summer fun begin at the NC Museum of History's First Friday on June 2!
Join us for beer samples, fun bee-inspired crafts for the kids (and the adults!), and wine samples in the Museum Store. Stroll the exhibitions and enjoy this special night from 5:00 – 9:00pm.
If you are a Museum Member, you are also invited to join us for"Bee" Happy Happy Hourfrom 6:00 – 8:00pm in the “Glass Box” on the first floor of the Museum.
Enjoy a beer + wine bar and learn more about your amazing membership bee-nefits. PLUS hear from local bee-keeping celebrity, natural beekeeper, and recent recipient of the City of Raleigh’s Environmental Award for her work to address causes of bee decline, Alice Hinman of Apiopolis. Alice was recently featured on the cover of Walter Magazine for her heroic efforts to energize Raleigh’s bee population.
Alice’s talk begins at 6:30 pm. If you are not a current member and would like to partake of the Member Bar + this amazing talk, you can pop in the shop to join (and you’ll get a 10% discount on anything that catches your eye while you are in there).
Top all of this off with bluegrass music from Eliza Meyer and you will be sure to have a bee-utiful night!
