On Tuesday, April 11, the Museum of the Albemarle will open the doors to its new building along the waterfront in downtown Elizabeth City. Designed with the look and feel of traditional coastal structures, the 50,000-square-foot facility will serve as an impressive site for exhibits and events about the Albemarle region.
