The North Carolina Museum of History brims with historical treasures from across the state. These treasures come to life for thousands of people every year with the help of volunteer docents who lead guided tours and hands-on Discovery Tours, adding a personal touch to a museum visit. Experience the fun of interpreting the past to children and adults by giving weekday and weekend tours. Assist with clerical projects. Help develop educational programs. Volunteers are some of the museum's greatest treasures.

Please join us. The opportunity awaits you to meet people, participate in special docent activities, and learn more about our state. Become a volunteer and help keep North Carolina's heritage alive.

For more information, complete an online request form or e-mail Debra Nichols, volunteer and group programs coordinator, at debra.nichols@ncmail.net.
