It’s here! Giving Tuesday is a celebration of giving that spans the globe and offers a moment of reflection after the busiest shopping weekend of the year. As we take time to reflect on the many initiatives our treasured museum undertakes, we invite you to join us as a Museum Member.

The museum proudly provides free admission to the public in addition to the many free programs you can attend throughout the year. But we don’t stop there! Our education outreach initiatives have served all 100 counties, bringing valuable resources to support and enhance school history curriculums.

Our flagship festivals—the American Indian Heritage Celebration and the African American Cultural Celebration—draw thousands of visitors every year for a day of music, food, literature, art, and performance. The museum has also built a platform that celebrates North Carolina filmmakers and films with the Longleaf Film Festival, a two-day event that continues to grow in its reach.

With hundreds of in-person and virtual programs a year, from lectures to concerts to storytelling, the museum offers something for everyone.
