Speaker: Carol Quigless, daughter of Milton Quigless, board-certified massage therapist, certified clinical aromatherapist, and reiki master-teacher

Join us for the incredible story of Dr. Milton Douglas Quigless Sr. Quigless was an African American physician, who opened a clinic serving the Black community who was being denied access to medical care due to segregation. Dr. and Mrs. Quigless provided healthcare for the next 50 years. Their daughter, Carol Quigless, will share the inspiring story of her father's life and the incredible legacy he left behind.

Carol M. Quigless was born in the rural town of Tarboro. As an adult she lived in New York City and Los Angeles before settling in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Charlottesville, VA. She is a board-certified massage therapist, certified clinical aromatherapist, and reiki master-teacher. Quigless has a private practice in Charlottesville and presents workshops for both the public and bodyworkers. She also teaches all levels of reiki. Quigless is dedicated to educating people about natural health modalities to assist them in developing healthy lifestyles.
